Royston Jones

Royston Jones is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the automotive sector, currently serving as the Global Head of Automotive at Altair since September 1998. Royston has held several key roles at Altair, including Executive Vice President of European Operations and Global CTO, as well as Managing Director. Prior to joining Altair, Royston Jones was the Engineering Director at Reverse Engineering Ltd from September 1994 to September 1998 and served as Engineering Manager at PDA Engineering from September 1991 to September 1994. Royston Jones also holds notable academic positions, including Visiting Professor at Queen Mary University of London and Honorary Professor at Swansea University, where Royston Jones earned a PhD in Civil Engineering, as well as a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
