Ulrich Jakobus

Ulrich Jakobus serves as the Chief Engineer - Electronics at Altair, a global technology company specializing in product development, high-performance computing, and artificial intelligence, since June 2014. Prior to this role, Ulrich held various leadership positions at EM Software & Systems GmbH, including Senior Vice President and Vice President of Electromagnetic Solutions, and was the Managing Director of MAGUS (Pty) Ltd. Ulrich has an extensive academic background, having contributed as a researcher and lecturer at the University of Stuttgart, where Ulrich also earned a Habilitation, a PhD, and a Diplom Ingenieur in High Frequency Technology and Electrical Engineering. Ulrich's foundational education includes Abitur from Max-Eyth-Schule Kirchheim/Teck.
