Mshci Frances Negrete

Frances Negrete has a diverse work experience starting from 2003. Frances began their career as a Teacher's Aide K-3 at Dr. Cobb Elementary School from August 2003 to August 2005. Following that, they worked as a New Student Orientation Coordinator at the University of San Francisco from August 2004 to August 2005. Frances then joined Starbucks as an Assistant Manager/Coffee Master from August 2005 to May 2009.

In 2009, they joined South Central Family Health Center as a Scheduler/Assistant to Associate Director and COO. In this role, Frances was responsible for producing schedules for all providers and medical staff across three clinic sites. Frances also provided minutes and agendas for Patient Flow Committee meetings and assisted the COO with various tasks including filing, answering phones, and mailings. Additionally, they collaborated with IT, Medical, and Operational departments on various projects and attended meetings on behalf of the COO.

Since 2012, Frances has been employed at AltaMed Health Services. Frances initially worked as an EMR Support Specialist from September 2012 to September 2015. Frances then transitioned to the role of Applications Support Specialist 2, which they held from September 2015 to September 2021. Currently, Frances is employed as an Application Support Specialist 3 at AltaMed Health Services.

Frances Negrete, MSHCI, obtained a Master of Science degree in Health Care Informatics from the University of San Diego from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2012, they studied Health Information Technology Implementation Management at Santa Monica College. Frances also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science, Community Health, which they earned from California State University, Los Angeles, where they attended from 2006 to 2009. Additionally, they obtained a High School Diploma from Saint Paul High School in 2003.

Frances has also acquired several certifications. Frances became a NextGen Certified Professional in EAS, EHR, and EPM from NextGen Healthcare in July 2012. In August 2020, they became an OnBase Certified Advanced System Administrator, and in July 2019, they obtained the OnBase Certified System Administrator certification from Hyland.
