Tara Ruhlen

Tara Ruhlen has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Tara is currently the Director of Healthcare Data Science at AltaMed Health Services, a position they have held since July 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Manager of Quality and Patient Safety Analytics at VCU Health from September 2022 to June 2023. From July 2018 to August 2022, Tara served as the Director of Planning and Analysis at Cook County Health. Before that, they worked at Atrium Health as a Health Services Researcher, Senior from August 2010 to July 2018, and as a Research Coordinator from December 2009 to August 2010. Tara'scareer began as a Research Associate at LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans from December 2007 to December 2009.

Tara Ruhlen completed their Bachelor's Degree in Applied Health Science from Bowling Green State University, where they studied from 2000 to 2005. Tara later pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology at The Ohio State University, completing their studies from 2005 to 2007.
