Valentin Felix Jr. has a diverse work experience starting from 2019. From April 2019 to December 2020, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at the W.M Keck Science Department, focusing on cell signaling and genomic studies related to cancer drugs. In September 2020, they co-founded a student-led initiative called Science of Learning (SoL), where they served as a Cofounder and Tutor. Valentin provided tutoring services for 1st generation, low-income, and underrepresented students in STEM, emphasizing empowering study methods and skill development. In June 2021, Valentin joined Home Instead as a Caregiver, where they provided in-home care, including Alzheimer's care and personal assistance, while prioritizing compassion and building meaningful relationships with clients. In March 2022, they joined AltaMed Health Services as a Quality and Population Health Project Intern, and then transitioned to the role of Clinical Quality Analyst. In their current role, they offer consultation based on data analysis and supports the dental department by utilizing key performance measures and creating reports. Valentin is also involved in EPIC report validation and data infrastructure support.

Valentin Felix Jr. began their education journey in 2017 when they enrolled at Claremont McKenna College. There, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Molecular Biology, which they successfully completed in 2021. In 2020, Valentin also had the opportunity to study abroad at The University of Manchester, where they focused on their field of interest, although they did not obtain a specific degree from this experience. Currently, from 2021 to 2023, Valentin is pursuing a Master of Science degree in Community Medicine at Keck Graduate Institute.
