Mats Blom

Mats Blom is Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of NorthSea Therapeutics B.V., a biotechnology company focused on oral, structurally-engineered lipid therapeutics. Prior to joining NorthSea, he served as CFO of Modus Therapeutics A/B, a biotechnology company developing therapeutics to restore healthy blood flow for patients with debilitating diseases, Zealand Pharma A/B, a biotechnology company focused on the discovery, design and development of innovative peptide-based medicines, and Swedish Orphan International, an orphan drug company acquired by BioVitrum in 2009. In addition, Mr. Blom has extensive managerial experience and has held CFO positions at Active Biotech AB and Anoto Group AB. Previously, he served as a management consultant at Gemini Consulting and Ernst & Young. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Hansa Biopharma AB (HNSA). Mats Blom holds a BA in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Lund and an MBA from IESE University of Navarra, Barcelona.
