Brad Schrumpf

Project Engineer, Geoint Scientist, PIR Data Analytics at Altamira

Brad Schrumpf has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies.

Starting in 1989, they worked for the United States Air Force (USAF) for 25 years, where they held various positions such as Project Manager, Systems Engineer, Environmental Scientist, and Senior R&D Engineer. During their time in the USAF, they led crisis action planning efforts and successfully coordinated aviation forces deployed in support of Operation Unified Protector.

In 2012, Brad transitioned to the National Air & Space Intelligence Center (NASIC), where they served as the Americas Production Team Lead for Persistent GEOINT Center. Brad guided a regional team of 12 members and processed numerous customer requirements.

Further along their career, Brad also worked for the HQ US European Command (EUCOM), Joint Task Force – Odyssey Dawn, Special Operations Command - Africa, 336th Training Squadron, Combined Joint Task Force - 82nd/101st Airborne, 335th Training Squadron, and the 15th Operational Weather Squadron. In these roles, they demonstrated expertise in meteorology, oceanography, environmental support, and training.

More recently, since 2014, Brad has been employed by Altamira Technologies Corporation, where they serve as a Project Engineer, GEOINT Scientist, and PIR Data Analytics specialist.

Overall, Brad Schrumpf has a wealth of experience in project management, systems engineering, environmental science, and intelligence analysis, having worked in both military and private sector organizations.

Brad Schrumpf has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial/Systems Engineering with a specialty in Environmental Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Brad also holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Atmospheric Science from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Meteorology from Texas A&M University.

In 2014 to 2016, Brad obtained a Certification for Project Management Professionals (CAPM/PMP) from Syracuse University, where they studied Project Management Fundamentals and VCTP. Prior to that, they completed the Acquisition Intelligence Formal Training Unit (IFTU) and ACQ 101 from the Air Force Lifecycle Management Center (AFLCMC) in 2013. Additionally, Brad completed the NATO Orientation Course at the North Atlantic Treaty Organization - Officer Professional Development Academy in Oberammergau, Germany in 2011.

Brad also holds additional certifications, including being Certified in Lean & Six Sigma Green Belt from Total Quality Management & Quality Air Force and also being Certified as a Technical Instructor and Group Trainer from the Air Education and Training Command.
