Stefan Knobl has a strong background in regulatory affairs and quality control. Stefan began their career in 2005 as a Technical Sales/Regulatory role at Alfa Aesar, where they worked until 2009. Stefan then joined ALTANA AG/Eckart GmbH, starting as a REACH Specialist in Regulatory Affairs until 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Project Manager for Regulatory Affairs/REACH. Starting in 2015, Stefan became the Head of Methods and Projects in Quality Control, where they led teams, developed new methods for quality control, and implemented dynamic testing procedures for continuous quality improvement.

Stefan Knobl has a strong educational background in the field of Chemistry. Stefan received their Diplom degree in Chemistry from the University of Tübingen, where they studied from 1994 to 2001. In 1996-1997, they had the opportunity to study abroad at Bangor University, where they pursued an Erasmus degree in Organic Chemistry. Stefan then continued their academic journey at the Fritz-Haber-Institute of the Max-Plank-Society and TU Berlin, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry from 2001 to 2004.
