Thomas Kostka

Thomas Kostka has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Thomas is currently the Head of Corporate Venturing at ALTANA AG since July 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Henkel AG & Co. KGaA for over a decade, holding positions such as Senior Investment Manager, Senior Manager of New Business Development, ATG / Head of External Technologies, and Head of Scientific Computing. Before joining Henkel, they were the CEO and Founder of SHORTCADD from 2005 to 2007. Thomas also worked as a Senior Computational Chemist at Sirenade Pharmaceuticals AG and as a Chemoinformatics Scientist at ChemCodes Inc.

Thomas Kostka pursued a PhD in Chemistry at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg from the year 2000 to 2001.
