Nastasia Efremkina

Nastasia Efremkina has a diverse work experience spanning from 2015 to 2023. Nastasia started their career as a Summer Intern at AOL in 2015, specifically working in BBG Ventures. Later that year, they became an Ambassador and Public Speaker for #BUILTBYGIRLS, Aol. In 2017, Nastasia worked as a Garage Team Software Developer Intern at Microsoft. The following year, they interned as an Azure IoT Central Software Developer Intern at Microsoft. In 2018, they joined the University of Pennsylvania as a Head Product Manager for the Software Design & Engineering class (CIS 350) and also as a Teaching Assistant for the Graduate Computer Architecture Course (CIS 501). Nastasia then moved on to Bridgewater Associates in 2019, where they worked as a Software Engineer Intern. From 2020 to 2022, they were a Software Engineer at Domino Data Lab and eventually became a Senior Software Engineer there in 2022. Currently, they are working as a Senior Software Engineer at Altana Technologies since 2023.

Nastasia Efremkina pursued their education in computer and information science at the University of Pennsylvania. Nastasia obtained a Bachelor of Science and Engineering (BSE) degree from the University of Pennsylvania between 2015 and 2019. This laid a strong foundation for their academic journey in the field. Building upon their undergraduate degree, Nastasia further expanded their knowledge by pursuing a Master of Science and Engineering (MSE) degree in Computer and Information Science from the University of Pennsylvania between 2018 and 2019.
