Katy Dowd Mutert is currently the Director of Marketing and Communication at Altarum, a nonprofit organization focused on improving the health of individuals with fewer financial resources and populations disenfranchised by the health care system. Prior to this role, Katy has held various marketing positions at organizations such as Spirit of St Louis Women's Fund, BioSTL, Healthcare Triangle, Inc., Simpler Consulting (an IBM Company), Brainscope Company Inc., Institute for Healthcare Improvement, and NDX Keller. Katy holds a Master of Arts (MA) in Health Communication from Tufts University School of Medicine and Emerson College, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communication and Media Studies from The University of Kansas.
