Alvaro Fuertes

Alvaro Fuertes, CFA has a diverse work experience in various industries. From 2020, they have been working as the Senior Vice President of Marketing at ALTAVAIR. Prior to that, they worked at Goshawk Management Ireland Limited from 2018 to 2020, where they were involved in corporate finance. From 2015 to 2018, they worked at DVB Bank SE, initially as an Assistant Vice President in Aviation Finance and later as a Vice President in the same department. Before that, they worked at International Airlines Group (IAG) from 2012 to 2015, where they played a key role in structured finance deals for IAG and its subsidiaries. Alvaro also had internship experiences at Coca-Cola Gestion, where they focused on trade marketing, and at Garrigues, where they gained experience in corporate law.

Alvaro Fuertes, CFA, obtained a double degree in Business Administration and Law from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid from 2006 to 2012. In addition, they participated in an exchange program at the University of Technology Sydney, focusing on postgraduate subjects in Finance, Marketing, and Corporate Law between 2010 and 2011. Alvaro also completed an exchange semester at the Università degli Studi di Firenze, studying Law (Giurisprudenza) from 2009 to 2010. Alvaro Fuertes holds certifications as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder from the CFA Institute, obtained in 2017, and as a Spanish Qualified Lawyer from the Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Madrid, obtained in 2013.
