Andrew Groth

Andrew Groth is a highly skilled Staff Controls Engineer with extensive experience in new product development and control systems, currently working at Altec since April 2018. In this role, Andrew has designed modular and scalable distributed control system architectures and developed advanced embedded software for Altec’s E-Series Crane and Derrick Controls. Prior to Altec, Andrew held positions at GE Power, including Lead Engineer for Operations Technology, where expertise was applied to the development of a next-generation Human-Machine Interface platform, and Lead I&C Engineer, managing various thermal DCS projects and collaborating on operator training simulators. Andrew earned a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Grove City College.
