Tony Hyman

Tony Hyman has over 20 years of work experience in the IT industry. Tony began their career as a Computer Programmer before moving on to roles such as Network and Systems Engineer and Firewall and Network Engineer. Tony worked for SITA SOC (Ltd) from 1996 to 2014, where they were involved in IT infrastructure and networking, as well as implementing IT security measures for organizations such as the National Prosecuting Authority and the South African Police Service. In 2014, Tony joined Netstar as an IT Infrastructure and Cloud Team Leader, responsible for ensuring a stable technology foundation and providing high-level technical support. Tony later advanced to Senior Manager: IT Infrastructure and Cloud Operations.

Tony Hyman completed their high school education at High School Oos-Moot from 1989 to 1993, obtaining a National Senior Certificate. In addition, they have achieved various certifications throughout their career, including the following:

1. Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in December 2019.

2. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) from the University of Pretoria in July 2008.

3. ITIL Foundation Level V3 from Foster-Melliar in May 2006.

4. Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) from Torque-IT in July 2004.

5. Certified Novell Administrator (CNA) from Cs Holdings Inc in January 1999.
