Julenni Colmenares has worked in the GIS field since 2009. In 2009, they were a Stagiaire at the Fondation de l'Institut d'Ingénierie. In 2010, they were a Traitement Digital des Images des satellites, where they evaluated the redistribution of sediments to understand the propensity to erosion in the Morrocoy National Park in 2009. In 2011, they were a Manager de traitement d'image numérique at Aeronautical Supplies. From 2018 to present, they have worked at Alteia as a GIS Analyst, where they have been responsible for photogrammetric treatment of drone images from reception of data to delivery of deliverables. Julenni has also done geomatics treatment for delivery of all analyses to clients, and calculated earthworks and embankments for advancement of the quarry. In 2018, they also worked at Airware as an Analyste en système d'information géographique, where they were responsible for photogrammetric treatment of drone images from reception of data to delivery of deliverables. Julenni also worked as a Stagaire au département des systèmes d'information géographique.
Julenni Colmenares obtained their Licence in Géographie from Universidad Central de Venezuela between 2003 and 2011. Julenni then went on to pursue a Master 1 in Géographie et Science de Territoire at Université Paris Cité from 2016 to 2017, followed by a Master 2 in Télédétection et géomatique appliquées à l’environnement from 2017 to 2018.
