Michael de Lagarde has held various positions in the oil and gas industry since 2005. Michael began their career as a Wireline Field Engineer at Schlumberger, where they were responsible for Open Hole and Cased Hole logging operations in Red deer, Canada; Yopal, Colombia; and Amsterdam, Netherlands. In 2007, they moved to Perenco as a Petroleum Engineer. In 2010, they became CEO of Delair, and in 2011 they were appointed Chief Executive Officer of Alteia.
Michael de Lagarde obtained their Master degree in Industrial Organization from École Polytechnique between 2000 and 2004. During the same time period, they also obtained an MSc in Physics from École Polytechnique.
