Tapio Karinsalo

Tapio Karinsalo is a highly experienced professional in the field of electronics and software engineering, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Tasowheel Oy since June 2024, while also holding the same title at ALTEN Finland since March 2022. With a long-standing role as a Senior Software Designer at Cimcorp Oy and an R&D Engineer Electronics position at Clothing Plus Ltd. since 2015, Tapio specializes in the design of wearable electronics and software solutions. As the CEO of Tmi Suunnittelu T.Karinsalo, initiating in April 2008, Tapio provides consulting, design, and product development services for prototypes in electronics and embedded systems. With a rich background as a researcher at Tampere University of Technology and experience as an embedded system developer at Clothing Plus Oy, Tapio holds a Master of Science in Technology from Tampere University of Technology, earned between 1995 and 2004.
