Lars Johansson

Lars Johansson is a skilled CAE Engineer specializing in passive safety and durability, currently employed at ALTEN Sweden since October 2021, where support is provided for traction battery development through durability and crash simulations using Abaqus, Nastran, and Dyna for Volvo Cars. Prior experience includes roles at NEVS focusing on passive safety simulations and early concept studies, and Combitech Sverige, where structural simulations for missile components were conducted. Lars has also contributed to GKN Aerospace during a master’s thesis project on CFD, as well as completing a bachelor's thesis in statistics at Valueguard Index. Early career experiences involved industrial work at Johnson Controls and Plastal, and an internship at the Stiwa group as a product developer. Lars holds a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, supplemented by an exchange semester at Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Stockholm University.
