Mauricio Peña Parra is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in hardware and firmware development, design engineering, and project management. Currently serving as an Engineering Consultant at ALTEN Sweden since August 2023, Mauricio has previously worked as a Firmware Engineer at DeepSea Developments and as a professor at Universidad Autónoma de Occidente. Significant contributions include the development of a LoRaWAN DataLogger at Cenicaña and experience in schematic and PCB design at SENA. Additional roles include field service engineer at POWERTEK, where expertise in programming PLCs and electronic circuit design was demonstrated, and earlier work as an electronics engineer at Universidad Autónoma de Occidente. Mauricio holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de Occidente.
