Richard Yuan has over 25 years of experience in engineering leadership within the semiconductor industry, particularly in the field of FPGA technology. Richard held various positions at Altera, culminating in the role of Director of Engineering, where responsibilities included leading the US IP Engineering team and overseeing the architecture and design of foundational IPs. Richard also served as Sr. Manager of IP & Device Software Engineering, focusing on managing IP engineering teams and supporting FPGA features. In 2015, Richard joined Intel Corporation as Director of Engineering in the Programmable Solutions Group, managing the High Speed Ethernet IP solution team and delivering significant IP solutions for Intel FPGA device families. Richard holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Purdue University and a BS in Mathematics from the University of Science and Technology of China.
