Sean Tai

Sean Tai is a seasoned fintech professional with 20 years of experience in the industry. Currently serving as the Head of Business Development at iLex since March 2024, Sean is focused on transforming the loan market through innovative solutions in loan syndication and private credit. Prior to iLex, Sean held key positions at IHS Markit as Managing Director of Loan Platforms and at Ipreo as EVP/Managing Director, where the syndicated loan business was a significant focus. Sean founded Debtdomain and served as its CEO from 2000 to 2013, leading its global operations until its acquisition by Ipreo. Earlier in the career, Sean worked at Standard Chartered Bank in the Syndicated Loans Team. Sean holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Sydney and attended Cranbrook School in Sydney.
