Pieter Op de Beeck

Pieter Op de Beeck has been working in the tech industry since 1998. Pieter began their career as a Researcher at KU Leuven, and then moved on to imec in 2001 in a similar role. In 2004, they founded Visys nv, where they held the roles of Director Software Innovations, Director Intellectual Property Rights. In 2013, they joined Key Technology, Inc. as a Sr. Director Software Engineering, and in 2019 they became the Managing Director of AlterEyes.

Pieter Op de Beeck began their educational journey in 1985 at St. Aloysius College in Geel, where they studied Wetenschappelijke A. Pieter then moved on to the Hoger Instituut der Kempen in 1992, where they earned a Master in Industrial Engineering Sciences in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. In 1996, Pieter enrolled at KU Leuven, where they studied Software Engineering. Pieter then completed a Master na Master in Artificial Intelligence from KU Leuven in 1998.
