Ryan Piers

Ryan Piers is an experienced broadcast professional currently serving as an anchor at Gray Television's Digital Network, Local News Live, since December 2020. Piers has a substantial background in play-by-play broadcasting across various platforms, including roles at American University, Howard University, Northern Illinois University, and VISTA Worldlink. Additionally, Piers has contributed as a freelance writer for Alternative Press Magazine since April 2020, focusing on pop-punk music and band interviews. Previous experience includes news anchoring for NBC News Radio and serving as an anchor/reporter for Alpha Media USA. Piers holds a Bachelor in Arts in Broadcast Communications from North Central College and a Master of Arts in Political Science from Eastern Illinois University.
