Stephanie Atwood

Stephanie Atwood, M.A. has extensive experience in early childhood education. Stephanie is currently the Director of the Early Childhood Education Center at Alternatives for Girls since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Oakland Family Services as an ECE Site Manager from November 2021 to June 2023, and as a Curriculum & Implementation Coordinator from October 2021 to November 2021.

Stephanie also served as an Instructional Coach at Early Childhood Investment Corporation from January 2019 to October 2021, and as a Head Start Teacher at Development Centers from August 2015 to January 2019.

Before that, they worked as an Early Head Start Lead Teacher at Starfish Family Services from August 2014 to August 2015, and as a Preschool Teacher at Warren Woods Public Schools from September 2013 to August 2014.

Stephanie Atwood, M.A. attended Baker College of Clinton Township from 2011 to 2014, where they earned their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Early Childhood Education and Teaching. Their education continued at Michigan State University from 2018 to 2020, where they obtained their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Human Development and Family Studies.
