Ido Ben-Shalom

Ido Ben-Shalom is a distinguished computational chemist with extensive experience in various research and leadership roles. Currently serving as Principal Investigator of Computational Chemistry at Alterome Therapeutics, Inc since August 2023, Ido excels in managing operations pipelines post-drug design. From 2022 to July 2023, Ido led a team at 1859 Inc, focusing on Computational Chemistry, Machine Learning, and related fields. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California San Diego, where Ido developed modules for molecular dynamics, and positions at the University of Duesseldorf, contributing to innovative binding entropy estimation methods while earning a PhD in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry. Ido's academic foundation includes a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, specializing in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Life Sciences, respectively.
