Al Mawji Cmiia

Al Mawji, CMIIA, currently serves as Chief Internal Auditor at both ALTÉRRA and Lunate, having taken on these roles in July and June 2024, respectively. Prior experience includes serving as Alliances Leader at AuditBoard from May 2022 to June 2024, where Al scaled the company to a 25x multiple prior to a private equity exit by HG Capital. Al's extensive background also includes a tenure as Chief Internal Auditor at Brookfield Asset Management from March 2012 to May 2022, Managing Director of Risk Assurance at Westpac Institutional Bank, and Global Head of Internal Controls & SOX at Ericsson. Earlier roles include Director of Operational Risk at Lloyd's and Manager of Assurance Services at KPMG UK. Al Mawji holds qualifications from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and has completed Lean Six Sigma & DFSS training.
