Matt Lock

Matt Lock has a diverse work history, with their most recent role being the Head of Internal Audit at the City of London Corporation. In this position, they are responsible for coordinating work across departments to ensure the best corporate outcomes from cross-cutting programs and projects. Prior to this role, Matt served as the Assistant Director - Strategic Resources, where they led the development and implementation of the Strategic Resources Group's work. Matt'sresponsibilities included business planning and workforce planning for the Chamberlain's department, covering finance functions, procurement, and IT services. Before joining the City of London Corporation, Matt held various positions at the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors, including Council Member.

Matt Lock has a Professional Accountancy Qualification in Accounting from CIPFA, which they obtained before 2014. Matt also has an Advanced Diploma in Internal Audit and Management from IIA, which they obtained from 2008 to 2009. Furthermore, they hold a BSc Hons in Mathematics from the University of Sussex, which they earned from 1995 to 1998. In addition to these qualifications, they obtained a PRINCE2 Practitioner certification from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in December 2016.
