John Collins

John Collins has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. John started their career in 2002 as a Supervisor at Vail Resorts, Inc., where they managed a team and focused on delivering exceptional customer service. From 2005 to 2011, they worked at Resort Technology Partners (RTP), initially as a Support Analyst, then as an Implementation Specialist, and later as a Product Marketing Systems Engineer. John transitioned from client consulting to business development, driving market growth and establishing product prioritization. In 2011, they joined ACTIVE Network as a Product Manager and Strategic Sales Executive, where they developed sales tools and methodologies, closed new business, and improved team effectiveness. In 2014, they worked at SKIDATA AG as a Sales and Business Development Manager, restructuring partnerships and developing a strategic plan for market focus and business development. From 2015 to 2016, they served as the Director of Resort Applications at Intrawest. In 2016, they became the VP of IT Applications at Intrawest and later moved to Alterra Mountain Company in the same role in 2018.

John Collins earned a Bachelor's Degree in Government from The University of Texas at Austin, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. In 2002, they also obtained a Certificate of Completion in French Language and Culture from Université Paris-Sorbonne.
