Aaron Burch has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Aaron started their career as an Assistant County Attorney at Baltimore County, where they handled various civil law cases and served as General Counsel to several county departments. After that, they joined the Johns Hopkins Home Care Group, Inc., first as an Administrative Resident and later as an Administrator.

In 2016, Aaron joined the University of Maryland Medical System Health Plans and took on multiple roles. Aaron first served as the Director of Business and Legal Affairs, responsible for the organization's legal and regulatory affairs, including Medicare Risk Adjustment strategies. Aaron then became the Chief Compliance Officer, ensuring compliance with state and federal rules and regulations and steering the business towards ethical and sustainable growth in the Medicare Advantage marketplace.

Most recently, Aaron co-founded Alterwood Health Management Company, Inc. in 2020, where they hold the positions of Vice President of Business & Regulatory Affairs, Chief Compliance Officer, and Co-Founder. Alterwood Health is a transformative Medicare managed care start-up that aims to build a community of forward-thinking clinicians.

Throughout their career, Aaron has demonstrated expertise in healthcare management, regulatory compliance, legal affairs, and business operations.

Aaron Burch's education history began at Mount Saint Joseph High School, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. Aaron then proceeded to Gettysburg College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from 1999 to 2003. After completing their undergraduate studies, they attended the University of Baltimore School of Law from 2006 to 2009, where they earned a Doctor of Law (JD) degree. Later on, from 2012 to 2014, Aaron enrolled at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and completed a Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree in Healthcare Management.
