Matti Nurmi

Matti Nurmi has over 25 years of work experience in various IT leadership roles. Matti currently serves as the CIO of Anora Group Plc, where they lead Anora IT, Business Technology planning, Data & Analytics, and Digitalization. Prior to this, they worked at Fortum for over a decade, serving as the Chief Architect for Strategic IT and Digitalization as well as Vice President of IT Development. Additionally, Matti has experience as the Head of Corporate ICT and CIO at Yle, the Finnish Broadcasting Company, and as a Project Manager at Nokia Oy.

Matti Nurmi completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Strategy, Finance, and Marketing from Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development in the year 2016. Prior to that, they graduated with a BSc in Computer Science and Data Communication from Tampere University of Applied Sciences, where they studied from 1990 to 1994.
