Anil Somani

Anil Somani is the Chief Transformation Officer for Altimetrik in the US - West. Anil was previously the Vice President of Digital and Mobile Global Product Development for Visa, where they were responsible for global product engineering and innovation developing highly scalable, always available, and utmost secure systems.

Some of Somani's key achievements include being responsible for a $55MM budget across FTE, Professional Services managing CapEx and OpEx, helping grow the organization from 3rd hire to 700+ employees, and increasing employee engagement and satisfaction scores. Anil was also selected to be part of top 0.5% of Visa’s Technology Leadership Team.

At Visa, Somani was responsible for Engineering, Test and Program Management of Visa Network Tokenization initiatives launching products with Apple, Google, Samsung and all tier one global banks. Anil also led various Digital and Mobile product engineering and innovation initiatives, including Visa Checkout, Visa Personal Payments, Visa Direct, Visa Tokenization, Visa Developer Platform, Multi-channel technology platform and white label Visa Digital Commerce Application.

Somani has also worked on market expansion in Brazil, China, Europe and other regions understanding and designing for regulatory and market viability needs.

Anil Somani's educational career began with a Junior College in Mumbai, where they studied STEM. Anil then attended the National Institute of Technology, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Finally, they completed a Master of Science in Computer Engineering at Santa Clara University.
