Liz Boazak

Liz Boazak has had a wide range of work experience in the field of research. From 2009 to 2020, they have worked for nine different organizations. Liz started as a Peer Career Adviser and Undergraduate Research Assistant at Rice University in 2009, followed by Research Internships at the University of Pennsylvania in 2009 and 2010. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant (Rotation) at the Mount Sinai Health System, a Teaching Assistant at the Center for Talented Youth (Johns Hopkins University), a PHD Candidate and Instructor for a Graduate Scientific Ethics Course at the City College of New York. In 2017, Liz worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Georgia Institute of Technology. In 2019, they worked as a Scientist I at KBI Biopharma, and since 2020, they have been working as an Associate Director, R&D, Senior Scientist II, and Senior Scientist/Engineer at Altis Biosystems.

Liz Boazak received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from The City College of New York between 2012 and 2017. Liz also earned a B.S in Bioengineering from Rice University between 2008 and 2012. During 2011, Liz Boazak studied Engineering at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV).
