Sally Daub has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Sally is the Co-Founder of BorderPass Canada since November 2020. Sally is also currently serving as a Board Member at Intellectual Property Ontario since April 2022. In 2016, they founded Pool Global Partners and worked as a Managing Partner, focusing on deep technology investments. During the same year, they were a Fellow at the Creative Destruction Lab, a seed-stage program for science and technology-based companies. In 2019, they became a Founding Board Member of Quantum Industry Canada, a consortium of Canadian quantum technology companies. In addition, they have been involved in various other ventures, including Altis Labs, Wrmth, The Bird&Be Co., Tread Inc., and Vertex.AI, where they served as an investor, board member, advisor, and president.
Sally Daub has a degree in Law (LLB) from Dalhousie University. Sally also has a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Ottawa. In 1999, they became a member of the Law Society Upper Canada, obtaining their certification from the Ontario Bar Association. In 1995, they obtained a certification as a Registered Patent Attorney from the USPTO.
