Andrew Biem has a diverse work experience spanning from 2000 to present. Andrew currently holds the position of Vice President of Technical Services at Altitude Energy Partners since May 2022. Before that, they served as the Technical Solutions & Reliability Manager at Altitude Energy Partners from October 2020 to May 2022.
Prior to their role at Altitude Energy Partners, Andrew worked at Nabors Industries as a Product Line Manager-Mud Motors from December 2015 to May 2020. In this role, they were responsible for the evolution and development of the Nabors Blue Force Mud Motor. Andrew also spearheaded the development and commercialization efforts of the Rotary Steerable System. Andrew collaborated with design engineers to develop next-generation high-capacity bearing assemblies. Andrew additionally worked as a Senior Directional Drilling Supervisor at Nabors Industries from October 2011 to December 2015, where they provided directional drilling services and utilized Compass for wellbore calculation and anti-collision.
Before joining Nabors Industries, Andrew worked at Schlumberger as part of the Drilling & Measurements team from January 2010 to October 2011. Their earlier experience includes a role at Ensign Energy Services as a Directional Drilling-Electronics Technician/MWD/R&M Supervisor from May 2008 to January 2010. In this role, they achieved significant cost savings by developing repair and maintenance schedules and building a repair facility. Andrew also established working relationships with leading suppliers of MWD systems.
Andrew started their career in the US Navy, where they served as an Aviation Electricians Mate from August 2005 to May 2008. During their time in the Navy, they also worked as a Miniature/Micro-Miniature Electronics Repair Technician, ensuring air wing readiness and contributing to cost savings through efficient troubleshooting and component replacements. Prior to their military service, they gained experience at StarTek as a Resource Planning-Intraday Specialist from August 2000 to August 2005.
From 2020 to 2022, Andrew Biem attended Lone Star College, where they pursued an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Electrical Engineering.
