Michael Akopdganov has extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Michael started their career at National Oilwell Varco, where they participated in the Next Generation Leadership Program, gaining exposure to various disciplines within the organization. Michael then joined Scientific Drilling, where they held several roles, including Global Inside Sales Coordinator, Marketing Project Manager, In-House Solutions Well Planner, and City Sales Professional. At Rubicon Oilfield International, Michael served as a Business Development Manager, Product Line Manager, Area Sales Manager, and US Sales Manager, leading sales teams and implementing sales strategies. Michael later joined Patterson-UTI as a Contracts Manager and Strategic Account Manager, responsible for managing complex sales cycles and negotiating contracts. Currently, they work at Altitude Energy Partners as the Director of Business Development and previously served as an Account Manager.

Michael Akopdganov attended the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business from 2005 to 2010. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a focus on Marketing. Additionally, they also obtained a Certificate of Corporate Entrepreneurship in Marketing from the same institution.
