John Metzger

John Metzger is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technical and management roles spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Technical Manager at Blount Fine Foods since May 2019 and simultaneously holding the position of Plant Manager at Consolidated Container Company since August 2016, John Metzger has demonstrated expertise in facility management, environmental compliance, and maintenance operations. Previous roles include Manager of Technical Services at ORBIS Corporation and Facility & EHS Engineer at Newell Rubbermaid, where substantial contributions included significant cost savings and enhancements in machine uptime and safety programs. John Metzger holds an Associate degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix, completed in 2011, and is actively involved in sustainability initiatives as the Environmental/Energy Conservation Sustainability Coordinator for the Greenville facility.
