Karl Langhorst

Karl Langhorst, CPP, CFI, LPC, serves as Senior Vice President Operations and Senior Advisor at ALTO USA since October 2016, leveraging extensive experience as a Fortune 25 asset protection executive. Langhorst also holds roles as EVP at ALTO US and VP of Innovation for Grupo ALTO, overseeing business development and technology innovation across Latin America and Europe. In addition, Langhorst contributes as an Advisory Council Industry Specialist for Graham Partners and as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Cincinnati, focusing on Retail Loss Prevention and Corporate Security while mentoring future professionals in the field. Prior experience includes serving as Corporate Sr. Director of Loss Prevention at The Kroger Co., where Langhorst developed a comprehensive loss prevention strategy, and holding the position of Director of Loss Prevention at Randalls/Tom Thumb. Langhorst's earlier career includes 18 years with the County of Dallas as a Deputy Sheriff and Deputy Constable. Langhorst holds a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University and a BA in Political Science from The University of Texas at Arlington.
