Dennis Moriarty

Dennis Moriarty has a strong background in operations and management, with extensive experience in the transportation industry. Dennis began their career at FedEx Freight in 1999, where they served as a Service Center Manager for the largest hub in the network. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing service metrics, staffing, production, and leadership development. In 2006, Moriarty was promoted to Managing Director of Operations, where they oversaw the day-to-day operations of 17 facilities in three states, with accountability for service metrics, staffing, production, and leadership development. In 2012, they joined Vitran Express as the Vice President of Operations, responsible for the day-to-day operations of 21 facilities in nine states, with direct profit and loss responsibility. Most recently, Moriarty served as the Director of Operations at Altom Transport, Inc, where they oversaw the day-to-day operations of safe and reliable transportation of liquid bulk shipments within the US and Canada.

Dennis Moriarty completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Governors State University between 1991 and 1993. Prior to that, they studied Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration at the University of Illinois Chicago from 1990 to 1991. In 1986 and 1987, Dennis attended Western Illinois University, although it is unclear if they obtained a degree or studied a specific field of study during that time.
