Adam Dodd

Adam Dodd is a skilled professional in the energy and construction sectors, currently serving as a Power Trader for Altop Energy since July 2025. Prior to this role, Adam worked at TransAlta as a Real Time Power Trader for the West region from June 2022 to August 2025. Experience also includes positions as Site Coordinator and Field Engineer at BOREA CONSTRUCTION, Project Manager at Avenir Contracting, and Structural Associate/Project Coordinator at Varcon Inc. Adam's career began with the Government of Alberta as a Wildland Firefighter, where duties included Crew Supervisor and Strike Team Leader, as well as an Engineering Intern at Crescent Point Energy. Adam holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Calgary, obtained in 2019.
