Bryan Simmons

Bryan Simmons is an experienced medicinal chemist currently serving as Associate Director of Medicinal Chemistry at Altos Labs since September 2025. Additionally, Bryan contributes to the Early Career Editorial Advisory Board for the Journal of Medicinal Chemistry under the American Chemical Society. Prior experience includes roles at Bristol Myers Squibb from November 2019 to September 2025, where Bryan advanced from Scientist I to Senior Principal Scientist in Medicinal Chemistry. Earlier positions include a Scientist I role at Celgene, and research experience as a graduate student at UCLA, producing a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, as well as an MS in Chemistry. Bryan holds a B.S. in Chemistry from California Lutheran University.
