Michael Min-Zu Wu is a Senior Translational Scientist at Altos Labs since July 2023, focusing on preclinical research and IND enabling studies for aging-related diseases, particularly through the development of ASO, AAV, and small molecules. Prior to this role, Michael held positions at Illumina as a Staff Scientist, where efforts were directed towards AI-driven target discovery in immuno-oncology and autoimmune diseases, and at AbbVie as a Senior Scientist II, leading biologics discovery projects targeting myeloid cells. Michael's experience includes significant roles at Amgen, specializing in drug development for cancer and inflammation, and initiating target discovery projects at Henlius. Earlier research endeavors included a Postdoctoral position at the Salk Institute, and a Postdoctoral role at National Yang Ming University, focusing on cancer research. Michael holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from National Yang Ming University and a Master's degree in Molecular Biology from Taipei Medical University.
