Tal Galfsky

Tal Galfsky is a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Altos Labs since April 2023, following a four-year tenure as a Data Scientist at Cherre, where contributions included developing a platform to streamline real estate data collection and analysis for large enterprises. Previous experience includes serving as a Senior Photonics Engineer at Elenion Technologies, conducting physics research in the Lab for Nano and Micro Photonics at the City University of New York, and acting as a Purchasing Agent for the Government of Israel's Ministry of Defense, overseeing significant procurement activities. Tal holds a Ph.D. in Physics with a focus on nanophotonics from The Graduate Center at City University of New York and both an M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Physics from Bar-Ilan University, with practical skills in ultrafast detection and data analysis. Early career experience includes logistical management for the Israel Defense Forces, significantly enhancing operational efficiency.
