Mike Nickel

Mike Nickel is the EVP, CLO at ALTRA FEDERAL CREDIT UNION. Mike has over 25 years of experience in the banking industry.

Mike started their career in banking in 1991 as a VP at M&I Bank. Mike then moved to Sterling Bank in 1998, where they served as Sr. VP until 2001. In their current role at ALTRA FEDERAL CREDIT UNION, Mike is responsible for the overall lending operations of the credit union.

Mike Nickel has a MBA from Viterbo University in Strategic Planing and Leadership. Mike also has a BS from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in Math and Economics.

Their manager is Steve Koenen, President & CEO. They work with Kevin Strangman - EVP, Administration, Dan Schwaab - EVP, Retail Operations, and Mary Isaacs - EVP, CFO.
