Daniel Matena

Daniel Matena is an experienced sales and management professional with a strong background in the sporting goods industry. Currently serving as Fleet Feet Sales Manager at Altra Running since May 2021, Daniel previously held the position of Regional Sales Manager - East Coast at Implus, where responsibilities included supporting key accounts and outside sales teams. Daniel also has experience as Territory Manager at The Genesis Agency, managing a diverse portfolio of leading brands, and as a Territory Sales Manager representing accessory brands in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic markets. Earlier roles include Footwear Specialist positions at both Greenwich Running Company and Joggers World, as well as teaching and administrative roles in education and athletics. Daniel earned a Master's degree in Sport Administration from Belmont University and a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education and Spanish from Flinders University.
