Managing Director - Altrad ASIA (purchasing / Global Sourcing Office) at Altrad

Farid AUMAR started their work experience in 2004 as a Sales and Marketing Manager at FULL CONNEXION LTD. In 2005, they joined ALTRAD as the Managing Director of ALTRAD ASIA, where they led the purchasing and global sourcing office responsible for sourcing, purchasing, quality control, and logistics tasks for Asian suppliers. Farid managed the supply of materials and equipment to over 35 countries and worked with more than 300 active Asian suppliers.

In 2012, Farid became the General Manager of SHANDONG ALTRAD MACHINERY, the first China-based plant and domestic market sales office of ALTRAD Group. Farid oversaw all plant operations, monitored the Joint Venture set-up process, and managed the budget and operating expenses.

From 2016 to 2019, Farid held the position of Regional Managing Director - Asia at ALTRAD, where they provided comprehensive maintenance and construction solutions to customers in various sectors across Asia. Farid supported clients in oil and gas, power generation, chemical, mineral, and mining industries in countries such as Russia, China, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, PNG, Indonesia, and Malaysia.

Farid Aumar completed their high school education at La Salle - Passy Buzenval, where they obtained a High School Diploma with a major in Sciences. Farid then pursued further education at Classes preparatoires HEC for two years. After that, they attended SKEMA Business School, where they received a Master's degree in Management - Corporate Finance. Later, they completed an Executive Diploma in Mergers & Acquisitions at HKUST Business School.
