Willemijn van Den Dungen

Willemijn van den Dungen is currently a Verpleegkundige in opleiding at Altrecht, starting in February 2023. Prior experience includes roles as an Individueel Begeleider Flexpool, Opvangmedewerker & Stagebegeleider, and volunteer at Stichting De Tussenvoorziening from September 2015 to February 2023, which provides shelter and support for vulnerable populations in Utrecht. Earlier internships include a research position at the University of Amsterdam focusing on societal reception and protected housing, as well as research roles at Stichting Ambulante Justitiële Jeugdzorg Curaçao and Expertisecentrum Forensische Psychiatrie. Additional internship experience includes supporting reintegration efforts for detainees at Stichting SurAnt and providing care for individuals with mild intellectual disabilities at MEE NL. Willemijn van den Dungen holds a Bachelor's degree in Verpleegkunde from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, expected in February 2026, and a Master's degree in Youth Studies from Utrecht University, completed in 2021.
