Thilina Abeyrathna

Thilina Abeyrathna has extensive experience in the software development field. Thilina currently holds the position of Principal Software Architect at Altrium, starting in January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Architect at a tech startup from August 2022 to February 2023. Thilina also gained valuable experience at Limark Technologies, where they held various roles including Associate Software Architect, Senior Lead Software Engineer, Lead Software Engineer, Associate Tech Lead, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer from 2013 to 2022. Thilina began their career at Virtusa as an Engineer - Technology from June 2012 to August 2013. Thilina also contributed to the development of phpMyAdmin from March 2012 to September 2012. Thilina started off as a Trainee Software Engineer at OrangeHRM from May 2011 to November 2011, where they gained experience working on projects such as OrangePM and the open-source product OrangeHRM.

Thilina Abeyrathna completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Peradeniya between 2008 and 2012. Thilina also obtained additional certifications, including the Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer from Oracle in August 2018, and the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services in October 2018.
