Ike Dube

Ike Dube is the current Managing Director for Altron's Rest of Africa division. Ike has over 15 years of experience in Business Risk Management, having worked previously for MTN in South Africa, Cameroon, Nigeria, and at MTN Group Management Services. In their current role, Ike is responsible for overseeing all risk management operations for Altron's African businesses.

Ike started their career in 2005 as a Senior Manager at MTN Group Management Services. In this role, they were responsible for managing business risk across all of MTN's African operations. In 2009, they transferred to MTN Nigeria as a Senior Manager for Business Risk Management. In this role, they oversaw the risk management operations for Nigeria's largest telecommunications company.

In 2013, Ike was promoted to General Manager of Business Risk Management for MTN Cameroon. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of risk management for MTN Cameroon, including internal audit, enterprise-wide risk management, fraud risk management, business continuity management, insurance risk management, and security & crisis management.

In 2015, Ike transferred to MTN South Africa to take on the role of Head of Business Risk Management. In this role, they oversaw the BRM department, which included the divisions of internal audit, enterprise-wide risk management, fraud risk management, business continuity management, insurance risk management, and ethics.

In October 2017, Ike left MTN to join Altron as the Managing Director for the Rest of Africa division. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing all risk management operations for Altron's African businesses.

Ike Dube is a certified ethics officer from the Ethics Institute of South Africa. Ike also has a certification in risk management analysis from the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). Ike has a masters in South Africa and International Taxation from Rand Afrikaans University - South Africa. Ike is also a chartered accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants Zimbabwe. Ike has an honors in Accounting from UNISA and a BCom in Accounting and Commercial Law from Rhodes University.
