Shiang Gwee

Shiang Gwee has worked in the biologics industry since 1997. Starting as a Research Associate at Powderject Technology, they then moved on to Pharmetrix TCPI in the same role. In 2000, they joined Genentech, Inc. as a Senior Research Associate and Project Manager. In 2011, they became an Associate Scientist II at Gilead Sciences, and in 2012 they were promoted to Group Leader, Formulation Development at La Jolla Biologics, Inc. In 2016, they were appointed as Formulation Development Group Leader and CMC Team Leader at MacroGenics, Inc., and in 2021 they were promoted to Associate Director Drug Product Development at AltruBio Inc.

Shiang Gwee received a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of California, Davis, an M.S. in Biomedical Laboratory Sciences from San Francisco State University, and a Project Management Certificate from UC Irvine.
