Christopher May

Mechanical Engineering Manager

Christopher May has worked in the engineering industry since 2010. Christopher began their career at Asahi/America as an Applications Engineer, where they provided customer service and technical support, designed custom fabricated parts, created CAD drawings and Solidworks models, and assisted end users with design and installation of products. In 2012, they worked as a Technical Department Engineer at Asahi Yukizai, where they created conceptual designs and evaluation criteria, designed and performed experiments, and interpreted test procedures for product certifications. In 2013, they returned to Asahi/America as a Research and Development Manager, where they worked in co-operation with technical and non-technical groups to accomplish company goals, and provided competitor analysis and technical guidance. In 2021, they joined JETCOOL Technologies Inc. as a Program Engineer. Most recently, they began working as a Principal Mechanical Engineer at Altus Thermal in 2023.

Christopher May completed their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth between 2003 and 2008. Christopher then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MS) in Engineering Management from Tufts University, which they completed in 2017. Christopher has also obtained a number of certifications from edX and IBM, including Machine Learning Fundamentals, Probability and Statistics in Data Science with Python, IBM Data Science Professional Certificate, and DSE200x: Python for Data Science.
